Our PVDF Coating Weatherable Prepainted Galvalume Steel Coil is engineered for superior architectural performance in demanding environments. This product combines the inherent corrosion resistance of a 55% aluminum-zinc alloy substrate (AZ100-AZ150) with a top-tier Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) resin coating. The exceptional strength of the fluorine-carbon bond in PVDF provides outstanding resistance to solar radiation, chemicals, and pollution, effectively resisting coating degradation caused by solar oxidation. While PVDF coatings may come at a higher cost compared to systems like polyester (PE) or silicone modified polyester (SMP), their near-maintenance-free characteristics and long service life make them the preferred choice for landmark buildings in highly corrosive or high-salt areas. This coil is an ideal, cost-effective solution over its lifespan for iconic structures like international airports, convention centers, and skyscrapers.
